Leave the bedtime times empty for no bedtime. When time runs out, a grown-up can add time by typing the account password.

Everything this profile has played, newest first. Removing a title only takes it out of this list and out of Continue Watching. It does not delete the video, and it keeps your Watched marks, Watchlist and thumbs.
Get a free key at themoviedb.org: make an account, open Settings, then API, and copy the "API Key". Details are only fetched when you press the button above; it never runs on its own, and only titles that have none yet are looked up. Pictures are saved on this computer. Trailers open on YouTube in your browser.
BackupsA backup is a copy of everything Oz remembers: accounts, profiles, your library, watch progress and watchlists. It does not include the video files or the downloaded pictures. Nothing is backed up automatically. Keep backups somewhere private, since they contain sign-in data. To restore, press Restore, then close Oz completely and open it again; a safety copy of the data you replace is kept.
Refresh Library only adds files that are not in your library yet. Nothing already in it is changed. Retry Unmatched Titles looks up titles that have no genre again. Find Missing Files only lists titles whose file is gone from a connected drive; you decide whether to remove them. The automatic check is off unless you turn it on. It only adds new files, never changes or removes anything, and the line above tells you when it last ran and what it found.
Open one of these addresses in a browser on any phone or computer on the same Wi-Fi, then sign in with an Oz account. Windows may ask you to allow Oz through the firewall the first time. Choose Private networks.
Put Oz on a phone's home screen. iPhone: open the address in Safari, tap the Share button, then "Add to Home Screen". Android: open it in Chrome, tap the three dots, then "Add to Home screen" or "Install app". It opens full screen like an app. The computer running Oz must be on and on the same Wi-Fi.
When this is off, Oz only works on this computer. Turn it off here on the computer if you want to block everything else.
Watch away from homeAway from home, your phone cannot reach your computer through the Wi-Fi addresses above. The easy and safe way is a free app called Tailscale (tailscale.com). It makes a private network that only your own devices are on, so nobody else can get to Oz. Please do not use "port forwarding" on your router.
Set up (once): 1) Install Tailscale on this computer and on your phone, and sign in to the same account on both. 2) Leave this computer on with Oz running. 3) The Tailscale address shows up above. Open it on your phone in Safari or Chrome and sign in to Oz. 4) On a phone, choose 720p or 480p under Picture quality in Settings to save data.
To install Oz on the phone's home screen away from home it needs a secure (https) address. If your Tailscale has the "serve" feature, open a terminal on this computer and run: tailscale serve --bg 8585. Tailscale then prints an https address for Oz.
Use this if a phone or TV you no longer use is still signed in. This device stays signed in.
Watched at 90% is off unless you switch it on. Titles you watch to the very end are still marked watched. With automatic next episode on, a 10-second countdown appears at the end of an episode and you can cancel it. Preview pictures are made once per video by the converter, using only key frames, and saved on this computer.
Picture quality (this device)Original plays the file as it is. The lower choices make the picture smaller so it plays on slower connections, like a phone away from home. They need the streaming player. You can also change it any time in the player menu.
Subtitles (this device)Refresh Library rescans every connected folder below. A folder that is not connected (an unplugged drive, say) is skipped and nothing from it is ever removed. Removing a folder only stops future rescans from including it — titles already imported from it stay in your library.
Search for the correct title, then pick it from the results.
Browse the computer that runs Oz and pick the folder that holds your movies or shows. It is scanned along with every folder inside it.
Enter your account password to add, change or remove profiles. It stays unlocked for 10 minutes.
Make a code and send it to someone. On the sign-in screen they choose "Have an invite code?", pick their own username and password, then make their own profile and PIN. They can join from anywhere they can reach Oz.
